AT700E-RMU
Overview
The Receiver Mount Upgrade is the optimal upgrade for the T-Rex 700/800 series, providing excellent strength characteristics to protect the valuable electronics in the front of the helicopter; while also solving the problematic, tail-heavy center-of-gravity (CG) nature of the stock helicopter. With an integrated battery tray rail system and a dual-captured strap slot design, the pilot can now adjust the location of the LiPos for optimal CG balance. In addition, the shear-strength of the Aluminum front rails will support the stock plastic-rails that are prone to break in high-power, hard-3D flying conditions; giving the pilot peace-of-mind to fly the helicopter to its utmost potential.
Important Notice: The T-Rex 700E (V1/V2) Series main-frames (H70041 and H70042) have an extended battery rail that interferes with the AT700E-RMU design. This document (PDF) provides instructions for the required modifications.
The T-Rex 700E DFC main-frames do not require any modifications and are an ideal match to the design.
