Warranty and Returns Policy
15-Day Purchase Guarantee
All standard (non-custom) KDE Direct products are backed by a fifteen (15) day, full-refund guarantee (shipping charges not included) from the time of purchase; provided an original purchase receipt from the KDE Direct website or a certified KDE Direct Reseller is supplied for authentic-purchase verification. Returned merchandise must be received in original delivered state (no surface scratches, blemishes, or product modifications) for quality-inspection and subsequent issue of exchange and/or refund. If for any reason you are unhappy with the quality or design of the product in the (15) day time period, please e-mail us your request (email@example.com) and return/exchange information will be provided as needed to complete the process. An official Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number will be issued for your request via e-mail, and must be placed on the return shipment label (or clearly marked on the box) for proper processing. Please review the RMA Process below and include the completed RMA documentation in the shipment to expedite service.
When packing your order for return, make sure to properly protect all original equipment, individual components, and manuals as included. Charges may apply if items are missing or damaged upon receipt. Shipping charges are the sole-responsibility of the customer and KDE Direct will not issue refunds for such. Restocking fees may apply at the sole discretion of KDE Direct.
Limited Product Warranty Coverage Policy
KDE Direct warrants the KDE Direct UAS Single-Rotor and Multi-Rotor Brushless Motor Series products (the “Warranty Products”, non-custom), against defects in materials and workmanship for a one (1) year period from the date of purchase (“Warranty Period”); provided an original receipt is supplied for authentic-purchase verification. KDE Direct warrants the KDE Direct UAS Single-Rotor and Multi-Rotor Electronics Series (ESC/UBEC, non-custom) products against defects in materials and workmanship for a one (1) year period from the date of purchase. KDE Direct UAS Propeller Blades and Propeller Blade Adapters are not covered under this Limited Warranty. KDE Direct’s sole obligation under this Limited Warranty is to repair or replace, at KDE Direct’s sole option, any Warranty Products that are returned to KDE Direct during the Warranty Period and that KDE Direct determines are defective. This limited Warranty is VOID if KDE Direct finds any signs of crash, damage, abuse, overloading, incorrect component matching (such as the use of non-KDE Direct brand Electronics and Propellers), incorrect wiring, reverse polarity or negligence by the user. This Limited Warranty DOES NOT cover independent performance testing, dynamometer studies, research and product development, and/or other uses outside of standard single-rotor and multi-rotor operation. An official Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number will be issued for your request via e-mail, and must be placed on the return shipment label (or clearly marked on the box) for proper processing. Please refer to all enclosed manuals and product pages on the KDE Direct website (www.KDEDirect.com) for proper use, requirements and maintenance schedules. If proper maintenance is not performed as required, items may not be covered under the terms of this Limited Warranty.
This Limited Warranty is VOID for all purchases from non-authorized resellers or third-party sales (second-hand owners). Refunds are not granted under this Limited Warranty.
Limitations of Liability
All KDE Direct sales are subject to its Liability Policy available at: http://www.kdedirect.com/pages/liability-policy. To the extent permitted by law, KDE Direct makes no other warranties or representations regarding its products (aside from the Limited Warranty listed above), and hereby disclaims any and all implied warranties, including, without limitation, the implied warranties of non-infringement, merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Purchasers acknowledge that they alone have determined that the Product(s) will suitably meet the requirements of their intended use.
KDE Direct shall not be liable for special, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of profits or production or commercial loss in any way, regardless of whether such claim is based in contract, warranty, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other theory of liability, even if KDE Direct has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Further, in no event shall the liability of KDE Direct exceed the individual price of the Product(s) on which liability is asserted. As KDE Direct has no control over use, setup, final assembly, modification, or misuse, no liability shall be assumed nor accepted for any resulting damage or injury. By the act of use, setup, or assembly, the user accepts all resulting liability. If the purchaser or users are not prepared to accept the liability associated with the use of the Product(s), they are advised to return the Product(s) immediately in new and unused condition to the authorized dealer or KDE Direct.
Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Process
When the official RMA number is issued via e-mail, a private link will also be provided to the KDE Direct Return Merchandise Authorization Form. Please download, hardcopy print, and complete all required information as requested; missing information will result in a declined warranty request. RMA numbers are valid for 15 days from the date of issue. This form must accompany all returned merchandise shipped to KDE Direct. All merchandise returned should be free of all non-KDE Direct components and hardware (i.e. airframes, mounting brackets, external hardware, etc.); only the original KDE Direct product(s) will be accepted for processing. KDE Direct is not responsible for any items returned that are not authentic KDE Direct components. Shipping charges are the sole-responsibility of the customer and KDE Direct will not issue refunds for such.
Upon receipt, KDE Direct will inspect the product(s) and determine if repairs and/or warranty replacement is eligible. If you choose to purchase additional replacements while the RMA is being processed, KDE Direct is not responsible for refunds. You will be notified upon review and completion of the RMA and if necessary, additional information may be requested (or options provided) via e-mail to complete the warranty process.

Before a claim can be filed for a lost shipment or missing package, KDE Direct must allow the United States Postal Service (USPS) and United Parcel Service (UPS) the full time allotted for delivery. Claims must be filed according to the timetables listed below:
The timetable for filing USPS Domestic lost packages is as follows:
- USPS Priority Express: 7 to 60 Days from Shipment Date
- USPS Priority: 15 to 60 Days from Shipment Date
- USPS First Class Registered: 21 to 60 Days from Shipment Date
The timetable for filing USPS International lost packages is as follows:
- USPS Priority Express International: 3 to 60 Days after Expected Delivery Date
- USPS Priority International: 7 to 60 Days after Expected Delivery Date
- USPS First Class Registered International: 7 to 60 Days after Expected Delivery Date
The timetable for filing UPS Domestic and International lost packages is as follows:
- All UPS Services: 5 Days after Expected Delivery Date
Please allow a minimum of 48 hours for KDE Direct to contact the shipping carrier regarding the missing package or full shipment.
Please contact us before issuing a PayPal or Credit Processor claim against the order, as this will cause further delays to process.
Our Warranty and Return Policy terms and conditions are subject to change without notice. KDE Direct reserves the right to deny warranty coverage for any and all products deemed outside the terms of the Limited Product Warranty Coverage Policy.
